Service Description

Shaky Alien offers free online courses that teach prospective independent authors how to navigate the process of author controlled publishing, a hybridization of self-publishing, and traditional publishing. All our courses regarding publishing include navigating processes like editing, proofreading, graphic design, and navigating the various different methods and avenues independent authors are able to publish and distribute their works. The course lasts approximately one month, and may have multiple different instructors, as each course covers a different potential distributor. This is not a course that focuses on the writing process or structural writing technique or creative writing, instead it is focused on the after processes once a creative work has been completed.
